We are committed to ensuring your satisfaction with every purchase. This return policy complies with the Consumer Protection Act (CPA) 68 of 2008 of South Africa.


1. Returns Window
Our return policy lasts 30 days from the date of delivery. If 30 calendar days have passed since you received your item, unfortunately we can’t offer you a refund or exchange — except where required by the CPA (e.g. defective or unsafe goods).


2. Return Eligibility
To be eligible for a return:

  • The item must be unused, unopened, and in the same condition that you received it.

  • It must be in its original packaging with all components.

  • Proof of purchase (invoice or receipt) is required.

3. Non-Returnable Items
Certain medical consumables cannot be returned for health and safety reasons unless faulty:

  • Nasal cannulas

  • Oxygen masks

  • Nebulizer kits and masks

  • CPAP/BiPAP masks

  • Oxygen tubing

  • Any disposable or single-use health item

4. Defective or Faulty Goods
If the product is defective, unsafe, or not fit for purpose:

  • You are entitled to a free repair, replacement, or full refund within 6 months of delivery under the CPA.

  • We will arrange collection or refund your shipping if the fault is ours.

5. Exchanges (If Applicable)

6. Refunds (If Applicable)
Once your return is received and inspected, we will notify you via email of:

  • Approval or rejection of your refund

If approved, a refund will be processed to your original method of payment within 7 to 10 business days.


7. Late or Missing Refunds
If you haven't received your refund:

  1. Double-check your bank account or card statement.

  2. Contact your card provider — it may take a few days before it's officially posted.

  3. If unresolved, email accounts@respocare.co.za.

8. Sale and Clearance Items
Only regular-priced items may be refunded. Sale or clearance items are non-refundable unless faulty or unsafe.


9. Return Shipping

  • You are responsible for return shipping costs unless the product is defective or incorrect.

  • Return shipping fees are non-refundable, unless otherwise stated.

  • If a refund is approved, the return shipping cost may be deducted from your refund if applicable.

We recommend using a trackable courier service or adding shipping insurance for returns valued over R1,000. We cannot guarantee that we will receive your returned item without tracking.
